When on a rainy day, no different to all the others, diligent grammar school student and Oxford hopeful Jenny (Mulligan) meets the urbane, witty and 30-ish David (Sarsgaard), her life is upended. Jenny’s traditional education is replaced with another, coloured by art auctions, smoky clubs, and Paris. But will the temptation of another kind of life make Jenny, or be her undoing?
