THE ROLE

This role reports in to the Ticketing Manager. Successful applicants will be required to attend a paid training session in early January. The season runs from 8th January to 22nd February and staff will be rostered on a weekly basis depending on availability and needs.


SKILLS

Essential:

  • Cash handling and sales experience

  • A high standard of oral communication

  • Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure

  • Customer service or hospitality experience

  • Positive and helpful attitude towards customers, colleagues, and supervisors

  • Ability to problem-solve

  • Computer skills – working with Windows-type interface

  • Working in a team

  • Neat appearance and punctuality

Preferred

  • Previous venue box office experience

  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster PCI or Classic, or other ticketing system


REQUIREMENTS

  • Available to work 5pm-8.30pm up to 7 nights a week during the season (early January to end February)

  • Foreign passport holders must have a current visa and be eligible to work in Australia

  • All applicants must have an Australian Tax File Number

  • Enjoy working outdoors, sometimes in extreme conditions!
